2013 World Series Champs (FC)

Today was game 6 of the World Series. It was Boston Red Sox vs. St. Louis Cardinal. Around the month of September where all the games had more meaning, the Boston Red Sox won the east division. Once I heard the news that they're going to the playoffs I was sure they would take it. Of course I'm a Yankees fan, but the Red Sox's are taking it this year. As a matter of fact, they did. Sure I'm disappointed that my team didn't even make it to the playoff's, but Boston deserved this championship. They seemed dedicated, and played baseball like it was their last game. They even grew out their beards!

I was a bit disappointed that St. Louis Cardinal lost. They worked just as hard as Boston did, but Boston seemed like they had the momentum since the start of the playoffs. They plowed down some of the best pitchers in the American League, and is why I knew they were going to take it this year. Congratulations Boston Red Sox, and the MVP Big Papi.

Good Ol' Sleep (PB)

Sleep is something that we all as human beings spend at least 1/3 of our day doing. Whether I have a good amount of hours taken to sleep or not, I still enjoy sleeping. I find sleeping a relaxing way to get through life, and be the king to your own world. The idea of imagining whatever comes up to mind, and you get to control it, excites me. I can become whatever I want, and have whatever is my desire.

As a child I never enjoyed sleeping. I enjoyed staying up all night, and is why I have these horrible bags under my eyes. I've reconsidered my passion of staying up all night, and began sleeping more. This soon led me to enjoy sleeping. I strongly feel that the amount of hours I slept increased my height, and I can agree with my statement. What helped greatly was last year in 11th grade. As juniors we would be able to enter school at 9:15am and have the chance to have that extra hour of sleep. All in all sleep is a great passion and I deeply enjoy it.

Building A Hovercraft! (ID)

As a student we're all required to take core classes. This year I was placed in a science research class in which the class has to research something on their own preference. It can be from a wide range of ideas like in my case, a hovercraft. We as a group chose this because it is something based on our major which fits beautifully. In the group Angel and Christian are my partners in this project. We have had various research ideas, but it became a thing in the past. We've thought about making a hologram or taking on the Cacao Genome Project. After a bit of research we realize that these topics are difficult, and require materials that we know nothing off, which is why today we have come up the idea of building a hovercraft.

After hearing about this possible idea I felt excited. The main reason is because of the possibilities. It puts a smile in my face because I'm planning on majoring in a form of engineering, and this research topic fits in. Although we currently have no hovercraft is being built, but soon we will make it. Of course there is the basic way to make it, but we are going to make this hovercraft our own. Once made hopefully in a future blog I might post a photo of it, or even do a vlog on it. If any of you are interested on making a hovercraft click on this link and it will give you information on how to do it.
